Sunday, July 3, I picked my dad up from the airport and enjoyed a Dim Sum meal at the Jade Garden. Jade Garden was well-worth the long wait! After a large lunch, we traveled to a deserted Pike's Place Market (the market shuts down at 5 pm, but stalls start to close at 4:30 pm), the Gum Wall (I contributed my bit to the Seattle oddity), and headed down to the Crab Pot to meet with my cousin and his friends. The Crab Pot was packed and was similar to a Cajun broil, except with less seasoning. The main draw of a Cajun broil is having an entire seafood feast dumped onto a table. It was an excellent feast, which was promptly devoured. Unfortunately for me, I was still hungry, but a quick stop at Ivar's for chowder was enough to fill me up.
